MESSSAGE FROM EXPLORE INDIA JOURNEYS INC. PRESIDENT AND CEO, NAZIR KARNAI

During this unprecedented time in our history, I want to let you know where Explore India Journeys Inc. stands with regards to our business in this time of uncertainty.

As you know, the travel industry has been hit very hard with the outbreak of the virus and the events of the last 6 months have caused a huge shift in travel around the world. The travel industry has literally come to a complete halt as the virus makes its way through the world causing disruptions in every aspect of our lives. Indeed, the pandemic has brought the world to its knees as we anxiously await a vaccine in order to get some semblance of normal life again. We share your concerns, anxiety, and hopes for a clearer future and pray that the day is coming where we can resume our lives once again.

Despite enduring a very difficult 2020 so far, I want to assure all of our Explore India friends, guests, and business colleagues, that nothing will ever take down our company we have worked so hard to create. Explore India has thrived for 80+ years in India and a wonderful 9 years in Canada and nothing, not even a ruthless virus, will deter us from the work we love which is taking our beloved Canadian guests to see our homeland India. Just as she has opened her arms and welcomed thousands of Canadians in the past, India waits patiently until the curious explorers in this faraway land return again.

Our focus at Explore India has always been the comfort and safety of our guests who travel with us, however, since March, we have increased measures to ensure the absolute health and safety of our clients. Increased measures and new safety and hygiene protocols that we enacted and perfected in the spring will remain part of our business going forward. Aside from masks, gloves, and sanitary sprays being offered, even once the pandemic is over, we will also conduct checks and balances to ensure that our guests are healthy to travel. These new measures will not only protect our guests but will also give peace of mind to travel again.

Like most Canadians, my family and I are adhering to the guidelines set in British Columbia and are grateful for the early success B.C. enjoyed and hope we continue to flatten the once again. Our family is safe and well and anxiously awaiting when we can see our friends and colleagues, in person, once again. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all the frontline workers who continue to serve the public during these trying times. From the health care professionals to the grocery store employee and to the teachers preparing for back to school, thank you very much for being there for all of us.
At Explore India we are using this time to perfect our services, tours, and itineraries, to offer an unforgettable journey of a lifetime to our guests. When business as usual resumes soon, we are standing ready to take our guests on the most amazing journeys to India and beyond imaginable.

For now, we stand with all of you in doing what we can to ensure the safety of our communities and flatten the curve completely. Whether we have to wear masks, self-isolate, or practice social distancing, we all need to stand together to get through this difficult time and we need to take solace in the fact that brighter days are ahead, it’s just a matter of time.
