I can only say Helen and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in India. It was very insightful and not a little unsettling and moving at times. This is as it should be. I had a little list of things I wanted to be able to do with the free time we had, as you know, and I accomplished all of them. The support ‘on the ground’ was good and Yajur was a very good guide. He’s very personable, organized and well informed. Please give him my best regards and convey to him my sincere appreciation for being our Tour Manager. He’s a keeper in my opinion. He provided a lot of very good context and insight into the country and its people as well as its strengths and challenges. His ‘lectures’ on the bus as we traveled I personally found very helpful. They got me thinking, asking questions and engaging him in conversation, when possible, to expand my knowledge (as for me this, along with time on the street, is an important part of travel). He has a lot of useful knowledge of the sites we visited also. That and the local and national newspapers available at the hotels were very helpful in that regard. I read them daily. It was a good way to see the part of India we were able to see, especially given my language limitations and lack of extensive prior knowledge of Indian culture. I had done preparatory reading prior to arriving in India. I came away with a better knowledge base and perspective on a very diverse country of 1.2B people. Enjoyed the accommodation, the food and the services provided also. Increased my tolerance for hot spices (in moderation) and Kingfisher beer too. I really can’t offer anything else beyond what I’ve already said. It was a ‘slice of life’ and I personally was very glad I went. Helen likewise.

We have arrived home safely. Your team in Delhi is to be commended. We were taken care of so well. Every detail!. Special thanks to Yajur. He saved me when I was so sick I could not eat. Rouf was also exceptional as was Rajeev ( sorry about the spelling) India is an exciting country and we are so Pleased that Explore India has such a fantastic tour with exceptional representatives.

Patti and I just returned home last evening from our Explore India vacation. Without question, it was the most memorable vacation we have ever been on. It is impossible to put into words all the wonderful experiences we had an opportunity to participate in. Whether it be the ancient sites, the living temples, the changing landscapes, the human faces or the excitement of rickshaw rides through old towns it was in a word amazing. On daily bases, we were drowned in wave after wave of new experiences that at times were hard to absorb. Your homeland is beautiful and one we know you must be extremely proud of. We will be talking about this vacation for months to come, but clearly, our words cannot do it justice. It is something one must see and experience for themselves. What took this tour from excellent to incredible was the leadership provided by your Tour Manager Ravi Shanker. This gentleman is the consummate professional. While many tour managers are able to connect you with the visual and physical aspects of what you are seeing Ravi was able to bond us all to the historical, spiritual, human and emotional elements that were instrumental in delivering a complete and fulfilling experience. While the memories of what we have seen will live in our minds forever, the memories of Ravi and his personable, honest and loving character and values will live in our hearts forever. Thank-you for all the professional aspects and level of detail that you have developed and incorporated within the Explore India Tour Package. It is a first class offering that we will recommend to all our family and friends.

It was a fantastic trip!! The trip was well organized, the hotels were excellent, the staff (especially Ravi Shankar) made the trip one of my highlight trips!! Thanks for hooking me up with Alice as she turned out to be a great traveller!! I am going to look at other trips you have Nazir as I felt it was a good value for the money.

I was talking to my husband again about the trip and the two of us agreed that it was a very well-organized trip and excellent value for money . . . above expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend the trip to others. I celebrated my birthday in Agra and it was so lovely. There was a cake and Explore India even gave me a beautiful gift of a shawl! Overall, it was an excellent tour, and very good value for our money. I would strongly recommend your company to any friends that wanted to do a tour, and would strongly recommend Ravi for any friends that wanted to hire a guide privately as well. (I am considering perhaps returning to India for a couple of weeks of "living" rather than "touring" in a few years, and will definitely contact you for advice, since you obviously know the country and the travel business very well!)

First of all a big thank you to you and your team in India for an excellent tour. It was most enjoyable. We would like to mention Rajeev and Yajur in particular. Rajeev was very welcoming and friendly and Yajur was an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide. Kashmir was very interesting and beautiful - Bashir was very accommodating and we appreciated you calling him periodically to check that our trip was proceeding well. We would definitely recommend Kashmir to friends planning a trip to India. What we really appreciated was the diversity provided whether it be the food (we did go to some excellent restaurants), the monuments that we visited, the rickshaw ride in old Delhi and the nature of Ranthambore NP. The hotels were generally excellent particularly in Srinagar, Agra and Jaipur. Ranthambore was a bit on the rustic side but the setting was good and very close to the park entrance. There was no mix up with bags, and timing and transport coordination was excellent. One thing we really did appreciate was time to relax and have some down time at the hotels.

greeting and saying goodbye was also excellent. Our group of 19 was so manageable that we got extra treats of walking the backstreets of Varanasi and extra rickshaw. I can't tell you in words how much I saw nor its effect on me. I now know more of India and have a deep respect for the people culture and their respect for their heritage. Keith and I also wanted to thank you and your whole team for the fantastic tour you organized for us in India, truly an incredible journey of the senses. What a unique and great country! As we mentioned to you before, it was one the best and most memorable trips we have ever experienced and we have travelled a lot. Your attention to every little detail and your extreme caring for us really made the difference. Everyday was a new highlight with its own thrilling surprises and enjoyment. I was completely and totally amazed by the parts of India that we visited. I have absolutely no complaints about anyone or anything! Both Rajeev and Ravi were excellent guides/hosts. I enjoyed learning about the history and some of the back stories from Ravi, and I appreciated Rajeev's punctuality and care when we arrived in the airport and when he put on in a taxi for the airport to get back home.

Leona and I thoroughly enjoy our trip. The trip was just right, not too short or too long.With a small group, we got to know everyone and even promise to travel together in the future. No problem with the Hotels or our meals. Kingfisher beer and only Kingfisher beer, no complaint. Our tour guide Sanjay, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Overall, it was a good trip and I highly recommended your company to our friends as a place to deal with. We are planning to go back in 2 years to see the south part of India or trekking north to Darjeeling, Sikkim area.

My wife and I are now back in Guyana after our participation in the October 30 Golden Triangle Land Tour of India. We want to thank you and Explore India for the excellence of the arrangements which ensured a memorable and enjoyable experience. For us, India was indeed incredible and we shall treasure many pleasant memories of the tour, the camaraderie among our group and the new friendships fostered. The physical arrangements – choice of itinerary, hotels, monuments and other sights – would undoubtedly have been refined over time based on your Company’s experience in the field, and Evelyn and I ask you and Explore India to accept our sincere compliments on that aspect of the arrangements. There was another element that complemented the physical aspect in the absence of which our experience might not have exceeded expectation. Here we are referring to the human element which also contributed significantly to the overall impression. From the moment that we were welcomed at Delhi Airport - well after midnight - by Rajeev Sharma, we felt the positive impact of the human side of Explore India. Rajeev infused the group with the confident expectation which was fulfilled over the days of the Tour. The team who looked after us for the duration of the trip are worthy of the highest commendation. Our Tour Manager Rajur was simply outstanding. Evelyn and I have done other tours but Rajur was easily the best we have encountered – great personality, friendly but firm, but most of all extremely knowledgeable. He provided valuable insights in an interesting way into the history, traditions, social and economic issues of India that proved to be a useful background to the monuments and places of interest we visited. Our coach driver Surjit was competent and generated confidence in his skills in what at times could best be described as organized chaos while helper Sonu was attentive to our needs and with Surjit ensured that the coach was always clean and comfortable. All in all, Evelyn and I very highly rate the experience compared against other tours that we have done.
